Dragon Moon Press
Dragon Moon Press is currently experiencing rapid growth. We are still very small though, and depend heavily on volunteers. Some day we hope to change that, and are looking for a few committed individuals to join our team and help us make the leap out of this universe and into the next.
WebMaster
DMP is currently looking for an individual interested in redesigning and implementing our website. The webmaster will be responsible for maintaining and regularly updating the website once the redesign is implemented. We will consider “new” webmasters looking for experience, but you must have formal training in web design and have access to the software necessary.
This is currently a volunteer position and, once the new site is implemented, will only require a few hours a week to maintain. With growth, there is potential for this to become a paid position.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Dragon Moon is hoping to find a special individual with book industry experience willing to volunteer a few hours a week to further the cause of the small press. Duties will include writing and releasing press releases, contacting bookstores and implementing a direct marketing campaign to a small database of customers. You need to bring a creative mind and a willing spirit.
While currently a volunteer position, with growth this could develop into a paid position.
Publisher’s Assistant
The publisher’s assistant will help with the administrative duties around running the company. Database listings, general correspondence, and other stuff (yup, stuff) as experience and enthusiasm dictate. This position is a volunteer position as well for now, but is the opportunity to learn about how a small press functions.
Possible advantages exist in all positions,
and will be negotiated on an individual basis.
Editors
Dragon Moon is always looking for editors. Some experience editing in the genre is required, as is the ability to perform a substantive edit and maintain an equitable relationship with our authors. You should be able to work comfortable with Word’s track changes function.

Dragon Moon would love to have a silent, or even not so silent, partner in growth. Someone interested in the arts, and aware of the realities of the publishing industry would be preferred
