Dragon Moon Press presents Darwin's Paradox, the debut science fiction novel written by Nina Munteanu.
A devastating disease. A world on the brink of violent change. And one woman who can save it-or destroy it all.
Julie Crane has a lot to be fiercely cynical and distrustful of. First, relinguished by her father to a science experiment that cursed her remaining life, she is unjustly accused of murder and ultimately of causing the worst plague ever faced by mankind, Darwin's Disease.
It's 2117 AD in south-eastern Ontario and a decade after Julie escaped the menacing Cypols (part men and machine) to the harsh wilderness of the heath with Daniel, her beloved. When assassins catch up to Julie and her new family, she is forced to journey back to the self-enclosed city of Icaria-5 on a quest to purchase safety for her threatened family. When she's captured by a ruthless Machiavelian visionary with designs for her and her young daughter, Julie must rely on a rapist, a traitor, and a voyeur to escape and battle the sinister force intent on recasting humanity.
This is Darwin's Paradox, a novel about a woman's fierce love and her courageous journey toward forgiveness, trust, and letting go to the tide of her heart.
